lol that would negate the definition of the word. To will something is to make an active choice. If you're choosing, you're not a slave. Slaves have choices made for them. I believe that humans are free to choose - it's just that they are too ready to give up that freedom. And as Henry Ford said, "whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're usually right"

No, humans are not slaves of their will. Everyone has free will to choose what they will do and how they will do it. Those who claim to have no power over their will are choosing to be passive and blame any consequences on the fact that they are powerless. ("It's not my fault!") Those people need to grow a back bone and take responsibility for their actions.

Without the grace of God, that can often be the case. All human beings have natural desires, and a natural attraction to ungodly, self-destructive ways. This is concupiscence, the worldy side of our fallen human nature. God's grace however lifts us out of such slavery, making us masters of, instead of slaves to our natural desires and tendencies. It allows us to live in a way that is not merely natural, but is guided by the supernatural. Of course no human attains absolute perfection in such matters. We all sin. But there is a great difference between occasional wandering off the path to eternal life, and simply losing the path and being mastered by sin as a way of life.

Oh yeah, we also allow ourselves to be slaves of someone elses will.
