You actually don't MAKE him like you, just FYI in case you didn't know.
You be yourself and not fake, tell him you like him and ask if he likes you too. If he doesn't, it happens, move on. Don't obsess, it wastes time. You don't want to be with someone you're not compatible with. Spend time with someone you actually get along with.

There's a saying... You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. If you like him then just tell him but if he doesn't like you back then I would move on. There is nothing wrong with you if he doesn't like you. There will be that Mr. Wonderful sooner or later. Then only thing you can do right now is to tell him how you feel.

You can't darlin', please do not beat yourself up about it. Look guys are shallow, if he doesn't like you then there is nothing you can do, move on. But if you want to See if he likes you than I can help: is he shy around you? if he is then that's good, he has strong feelings for you. Is he more cocky and confident around you in front of his friends?if so than he finds you attractive at east and so do his mates. Ignoring you is not a good sign, It means he doesn't even know you exist so get yourself noticed, dress sexily or somethin', touch his knee or lean over him to reach somethin'. If he likes you he Will touch you, subtlety, like you hand or butt.

I would be flattered if a girl just asked me out.
He maybe to shy to ask you out.
You are putting it all on him to take the risk of being hurt.
