SAGE :-)
I'm a rather fat feathery owl called Sage,
I've been sitting here now for simply an age,
I'm ready and waiting to go to the treat,
and I'm hoping there will be plenty to eat.

Sage.
It's from a kids programme called the Herbs with Parsley the Lion, Dill the Dog, Sage the Owl, and I can't remember the name of the Indian who slept on a bed of nails.

Douglas B is on the case. The Indian was called Pashana Bedhi (not sure of spelling) There was also Sir Basil, Lady Rosemary, Bayleaf the Gardener and the wicked witch Belladonna. Ahhh- memories, memories!

Death, the Disenfranchized Owl ?
(Sorry, thinking about Bill Bailey's song about being an owl...
"I am death, a wildebeest,
I am born on the velvet wings of night and I'm hungry for a feast,
I am the nemesis of the vole,
and my heart is black as coal,
you can kill me with a trowel, I am an owl"
