I just got out of a four year relationship that was on and off and we broke up because i found out that he was being sneeky and trying to hook up with my friends behind my back. So it was the end. I also went out of town for thanskgiving to visit my family and found that my best friend cousin is an alcoholic and she tried to fight me in a drunken rage and also informed me that she hooked up with my ex- and she "like it". So ever since me and my ex broke up i have been talking to this guy that is one of my roomates best friends. We have hangin out for awhile and he broght me home to meet the family and all and its been great. Well my roomate is jelous and wont let it happen anymore. So he broke up with me pretty much just so he wouldnt have to hear her ***** about it anymore. What do i do about all of this?

You are feeling pretty vulnerable right now, especially after the four year relationship. I am sure that alone has caused enough pain that you are not quite yourself right now. You need to stay away from men for awhile. They are only going to see your vulnerability and take advantage of it. Join a gym, get a new hobby, grab some good girlfriends. Anything to give the pain a chance to dull or heal. Another man right now will just make your life hell. Especially the vultures out there who know you are an injured one. Stay away from all those right now who have inflicted pain on you, including your cousin. You are best to recuperate without any of them.

Move on. Drop all these hanky-pankies and grow up. Words can be painful but if you speak less with them there won't be any hurting words hurling at you. Should you start a new relationship its not necessary for you to divulge your history nor have to "report" to anyone of this relationship. Christmas is coming, leave the past behind and start life anew! Merry Christmas!

you date. if he broke up with you just to shut her up you don't need him. date guys and tell them upfront your not looking for anything serious. after a few think about things if there was one you really like call and go on another date. people don't date as much as they use to but you don't want to settle on a relationship when there might be some one better out there.

tell your friend to shut up and if that man was a "real man", he would put up with any crap just to be with you.
