Unless you are eating meat from a long horn steer or a water buffalo and eating wild carrots then that food has already been modified over millennia to be more appealing to humans.

If every whim of a special interest group was catered to in the descriptions provided with food, the menus at restaurants would be ten pages long and the supermarkets would need an attached info library to soothe the worries of all their customers.

Yes because when humans go further and mutate genes byond simple cross fertilizations then it poses disastrous effects if released into an untouched ecosystem.
