Is it any good? Is it buggy? Should I wait? Can I even get it now, or do I have to wait until January?

I bought one on ebay last year from a seller from the U.K. I didn't like it when I installed it. I think windows xp is way better than it. I had to uninstall win vista and reinstall my XP. I even thought I might have bought a fake win vista because I wouldn't expect such piece of ----to be widely publicized.

It will not be officially available in stores before January from what I heard. You can get your hands on the final release version if you are persistent however. If you are running windows XP and IE version 7, there is not a real need to bother upgrading. There are some pretty hefty system requirements for Vista. Goto Microsoft's website to get the full specs.

I have Windows Vista RC1 (A pre-release), and it looks promising. It comes with a lot of nice stuff and looks pretty cool.

In my opinion, more people need to flock to Linux. Linux would be just as good if more people made software for it.

It's pretty cool, Haven't really seen bugs, But some software won't work, Like older version of Symantec (Norton) antivirus...
I downloaded from Mircrosoft, You have to burn it to a DVD to install. I like it though.
