My day is not complete if I don't have my daily shot from Starbucks......if you notice that you get headaches or are quick to anger if you don't have your daily fix.....I hate to say it but you may have a problem. Caffine is a drug after all and depending on your level of tolerance you may have formed a habit. BUT - it could be worse!!!!!! :)

What I would do in this situation is STOP drinking coffee for about a week and take a day off to stay home and rest. It sounds like you may just be way overworked and overtired. Once you catch up on your rest and go back to the coffee after about a week (or more if you can stand it), you will find that it will be able to effect you again. Trust me. I'm a new mom who loves a cup of good coffee. You wanna talk about being tired......

It isn't an addiction as much as it is a need some sleep. Try to fins someway to slip in a few more zzz's each day. Even if it means (Oh no) , making the coffee at home and skipping the time it takes to do starbucks :0)

Pretty typical, High School student drinking coffee like it's goin outta style. I don't know anyone that didn't go through that phase. Some get out of it, some don't. I definitely took it as an addiction, because when I stopped drinking I went through some serious withdrawal.
Well good luck.

you definitely have a problem,
or maybe caffeine doesn't affect you like others.
But if you have built up a tolerance, you might have issues.
Did caffeine have a different effect before you started consuming a half-gallon before class?
I think you need to dry-out like an alcoholic or de-tox like herion addict. Take a week or two without coffee or starbuck coffee and see what the effects are and how you re-act to not having it. Try to be observant of yourself and what habits are during that time.
should be interesting.

well, caffeine is something that you build a tolerance too and you need more and more to feel the effects of it. Sounds like you have WAY too much too often. Try laying off of it for a few weeks then have 1 cup of coffee and see what it does to you.

I think that you do have an addiction and a serious medical problem that needs to be resolved quickly . You should go to your physician like now, and get them to tell you what is wrong with you .

I dont think you have an addiction problem. I think everyone's body reacts different to caffiene, I could drink coffee before I go to bed with no problem and i dont drink it alot at all.

No, I do that too with Starbucks. You just have developed tolerance. Another good place to try is Caribou Coffee, they are awesome

no, not an addiction, just a very high tolerance to caffeine. I would back off though b/c caffeine can cause serious kidney problems and breast mastitis in women.
