my skin is extra sensitive around that area, so it is difficult for me to get the job done without getting severe burn, or small pimple like bumps. I've tried lots of things- any suggestions?

I have the same problem and i take a scissor and trim very low and for the side i use a very little bit of Nair and wipe the side clean then i use the summers eve wash and powder to keep the air smooth and i never get bumps the key to it is to not remove all your hair a very low trim is good.

The area yes is sensitive razor burn or irritation can be minimized if not prevented by scrubbing the area first with a wash cloth and soap. This will remove any old skin that the razor removes along with the hair hence causing razor burn. Always go with the grain of the hair meaning shave in the direction the hair grows first, then go against the grain (the opposite direction you just shaved) I know seems strange but it works. Most people shave against the grain first causing the razor burn. So remember shave downward first in a motion going towards your feet then shave the opposite direction to get a close less irritated no razor burn bikini line. Good luck.

do not learn about shaving downstairs yet I shave my head on a weekly foundation. to stay away from razor burn make constructive the area is moist with water by way of the indisputable fact that reduces friction. besides a sturdy sharp razor is mandatory, you may want to imagine this can make better razor burn yet this isn't genuine. ultimately, do not bare down on the razor to a lot fairly gently waft over the area. Repeat shavings might want to correctly be needed yet with a sturdy sharp razor and gentle pressure might want to do the trick.

Well, if your not using a shaving cream (not soap), I highly suggest it, it does help. Also make sure the razor your using is new with no nicks in the blade. If you still have breakouts after this, then you could always get it waxed off. Painful, yes, but smooth as ever.

Instead of a shaving cream or soap... use normal hair conditioner... it softens the hair and most have nutrients, vitamins and stuff for the "scalp" that will help take care of razor burn.
