is he vomiting hairballs or food and stomach contents???
if hairballs, it is normal--make sure the kitty has fresh pet grass to eat next to his food.
if he is vomiting food and stomach conents, and keeps vomiting for many hours, take him to the vet.
it is probably hairballs--kitties do that.

I have a cat that's still young and I got him when he was just a itty bitty baby and i've found vomit spots around my old place but had never actually seen him vommiting. After finding the vomit I started watching him more closely, since he's still young he's still very curious and I started to notice that would eat dirt and random stuff laying on my floors. You may wanna start watching him more closely to see if he's eating stuff that may cause it. As some of the other people said it may be hairballs but you may wanna look at it closely next time it occures to check and see if there's hair in it or not. My cat just vomitted today and I found sausage casing in it so I know he got into my trash and ate it out of there. I would just keep a close eye on him for a little while before spending the money for a vet visit incase it's just something as simple as him eating things he doesn't need to be eating. Hope you get it figured out and it's nothing serious.

If she's that young, I'd take her to the vet right away, or at least call one and ask what they think.

Making sure she at least drinks is the most important. Cats (especially kittens of that age) get dehydrated very easily and then you'll have a worse, and more expensive, problem on your hands.

She might have managed to eat something that's bad for her and gotten food poisoning, or she has some thing in her that's dangerous. So my suggestion is that you take her to the vet. =)

I hope everything goes ok.

It's natural. There's no need to worry.
All cats purge or puke, due to the food they ate, because it could have disturbed their digestive system, specially young one's since they need soft food,or it could be the hairballs.Just make sure you provide grass to help it vomite. It always happens to my cat.
If it purges more than once in a day or let's say 6 hours, then it is not normal, and you should take it to a Vet A.S.A.P

I hope it's nothing serious.

Possible hairball. Is there hair in it? It could be a number of things, chang food recently? that could be it. I'd give her a day or two, make sure she is drinking water so she doesn't get dehydrated. If she isn't better, sounds likea vet trip.

If kitty is vomiting food, maybe you should switch to premium pet store brand which contains no by-products.

kittens have very little weight to spare. You need to call your vet asap.
