Maybe he's interesting to talk to. If any two people are not thinking about impressing the other, conversations can be very stimulating. In other words, sports isn't everything.

Some women dig nerds. I for one seriously dig glasses, the thick black ones too. Turns me on. Go figure. Not to mention I like learning new things, so a guy who can teach me something new w/out treating me like I'm stupid, is highly attractive.
