Oh gosh yes. I have been married for 11 years and it gets worse I hate to say. But it will catch up to them and we will have our day in the sun, where we can just set around all day and watch tv or do whatever we want. And they cant say a thing about it!!!!!

My husband will not just sit down and watch a movie with me. He constantly find other things to do, like cleaning this, putting this away, etc. We share chores and split tasks between us. I get things done and out of the way and he is always finding new things to do, that really could wait until later. But it would drive me crazy if he sat around and neglected our chores. I like my problem better.

Often. To get him out try and find out his likes and motivate him. Introduce other interests to him. Speak with him and advise him that you enjoy joining him watching TV but you need some activities outside of TV. Good luck!

YES, you can't live a very eventful life sitting in front of the T.V. There is also the opposite that drives me crazy. One that never wants to just relax for a minute. You have to find a happy middle.

yes but i think that's just men. My hubby comes home from a long day at work and just wants to unwind infront of the tv.... we usually don't talk until right before we lay down to go to bed then we have "our time". Men just love TV...

I hope you are not married to this guy. They do not change. But what you need to do is find something for you to do. Go out and have fun. Let him see you are having a good time, maybe he won't want to sit there, maybe he'll want to go with you. It's worth a try.
