Where, and what is the physical evidence proving Jesus's existence? I want to know if there is actually any kind of artifact or body, as I already know what the Bible says- and I know there are other books and writings and that some of you say you can feel his presence in your lives... but is there anything that I can pick up and hold? Anything I can go see in a museum? Anything that shows he actually lived, beyond a doubt?

Many of you are missing the point. If I took written documents as PROOF it would be no different than taking the National Enquirer as proof.
I'm not trying to be a pain here, but I've already heard all the written documents for answers to this.
After years of Fox News and CNN, I have learned that the truth is very easily manipulated, misjudged, and embellished. I am hoping one of you can site something that cannot be tampered with.

No physical, concrete evidence of Jesus. You can't go to a tomb and say, 'here lies Jesus' body.' But then, you can't do that for most people who lived 2000 years ago, and it becomes much harder if they're resurrected. And even if one has relics, bones, the Shroud of Turin, how could anyone prove that they were from Jesus? That sort of evidence is an impossibility. For all that, there is reliable non-Biblical accounts (which you could hold, if they'd let you!) of the existence of Jesus of Nazareth. Check out Tacitus and Josephus to start.

Go to any library in any free country and search "Jesus", you will find more documentation than on any other subject.
The only evidence will be historical. But there will be more evidence for Jesus than for any other figure in human history, including Alexander the Great, Homer, and king George, even Madonna. However, Madonna is alive today-you have physical proof of her existence now. You will not have it when she dies. Yes you may have a video of her as proof, but how will you know it is not a hoax-you will not. The bottom line here is that, if you can not believe that Jesus actually lived on this earth 2000 years ago from the historical evidence. You can not believe anything, including much of what you can see right now. Think about that.

Well, you've already picked it up, you said. The Bible. You still need something else? When you think about it, there's not going to be much proof of anyone after 2000 years, and especially Jesus since the Bible says his body was "gone". Disappeared from the tomb.

The graves and bodies of the disciples who died in His name are all over the place. You can usually catch info on it onthe History channel. Josephus the Roman historian also talks about him existing in his records.
As for a body, He was ressurected on the Third Day in the flesh. So no body.
Lots of people existed that we no longer have physical proof just historical record.
Besides those of us who believe He is God, believe that every blade of grass prove He exists.

There is, actually, some flesh from his heart that is in a museum somewhere, and also 5 drops of blood. They are from the 8th century, and I believe they are either in Turkey or Italy. Hope that's enough proof for you.

Believing in Jesus is believing in a great act of God: His decision to become flesh and come down to live among us in some time of humanity in order to challenge man at a sacrifice not offered by men to God but one offered by God to men for our reconciliation to him. Any one who believes this is able to return to him, and keep God in first place above everything for ever. I think this is the main idea. About evidences of Jesus, I know there are scientific studies and physical probes, but I don´t know details. What I can tell you is those would make no difference on me to get closer to this great truth. Other people in different continents (or planets?) may not have this direct highway to God: Jesuschrist, maybe they have other highways or are already there, but this is the highway I know.

Well, of course there is the bible and other historian's at the time that wrote about Jesus existence. As far as proof his was divine, you could go by the fact, their were many witnesses that saw he had resurrected, and died a terrible death spreading the good news.

if you can only believe in things you can see and touch does that mean the other things in history never existed? Jesus body was taken away all we have of the physical are bible accounts from eyewitnesses. But a lot of history is from one persons or anothers point of view.

after His resurrection Jesus ascended into Heaven so it is not possible to have bodily remains, and if there was a body then it could not be that of Gods Messiah.
that is why Christians talk about having faith in the risen Lord and why those without faith cannot understand, you cannot work this all out in your intellectual head, faith lives in the heart.
for those who believe no explanation is necessary, for those without faith none will suffice.
I really hope that you will come to understand this someday.
Kind regards.

The fact the Jewish people and Islamics and Historians accept there was a Jesus.
To be frank, in 2000 years no one can prove YOU existed!
