I have a small 6-9month old cat and he continually sprays my clothes, bedding, sheets, couch, and laundry it smells like urine but this morning i caught him in the act and it was coming straight out the rear. It's annoying me and my girlfriend terribly is there any way to stop him from doing this i'm getting him neutered and declawed next thursday and was hoping that that would help but i don't want to spend 300 bucks and then have to turn around and give him up if he doesn't quit spraying!

Hi there...in all honesty until your kitty is neutered next Thursday it would be best to confine him to a small room which can be easily washed/cleaned down. It's difficult to control the hormonal urges he's experiencing, which is why he is spraying.

having him neutered will stop the spraying but you do dont have to go to a regular vet for that. call the mobile vet in your area and they will do it for about 75. plus give him all the shots and give him some kitty pain pills.

neuter your cat before his hormones are active--your cat's hormones are active and as long as you are 2 mnen in a room with females coming in--you will have a sprayiong cat. GET HIM FIXED. it is only mean to the animal to allow its hormones to activate without allowing it to mate.

It will help trust me. Confine your cat to one room with his litter box for awhile. Nothing is worth than cat urine.

The neutering should make it stop. Be sure to ask your vet about this.
