I was 20. I had 3 serious at least 1 year relationships before that, and was even engaged at 19 to one of them. I still didnt have sex with him. Virginity is something that can only be given away once.. I wanted it to be special... and it was.

I was 18. I'd had 3 "serious" boyfriends and a lot of dates but I just wasn't ready to commit to that level until I met the person I started dating at 18. He turned out to be the person I married.

You should have expanded your question a little! Because that really is a personal question to be asking just out of the clear blue to a bunch of strangers on the net!

Are you asking this question for research or are you asking to determine whether you are too young to be having sex?

I was a troubled kid. I was kicked out of my house when I was 13 so I was living out on my own. I ran with an older crowd and I wasn't really bad but the company I kept was. I was at school one day when I got paged to the office, my Uncle Jim was on the phone saying that Aunt Kim was in the hospital & they needed someone to rush over to look after the kids and they were sending someone to pick me up from school.

This was a complete BS story so I could get out of school without getting in trouble. So I left school to goto my bf's place. He was a drug dealer who was constantly trying to pressure me into having sex with him but I wouldn't. Like I said I was going through a rough time & my friends were all that I had.

We spent the afternoon getting really wasted. I had over indulged & I didn't feel to good so I locked myself in my bf's room & asked one of his friends to guard the door. I woke up to my head being banged against the headboard and my bf on top of me telling me how much he loved me. (the friend who was guarding the door was still in the hallway reading a comic book)

I freaked out...ran out of the house...ran down the block crying. I met up with a friend of mine & told him the whole story. That friend stayed up with me all night comforting me. The next day I went back to my parents place & begged to come back home.

Now did this change my life? No, I was still a wild child, still ran with a fast crowd, got kicked out of my parenst house many more times. But I did learn how to protect myself & to never get into a situation like that again.

Who do I blame? No one but myself. But I did get justice on the bf??...gave up evidence to the police which got him locked up on grand theft auto charges...he was in jail for nearly 20 years.

So that is my story...after all these years I am finally able to share my story...the only one who knew was that 1 friend who was my shoulder to cry on, my 1 true friend who I married many years later. I hope I can show the "other" side of losing your virginity and if I can get even 1 more girl to be aware of situations like this then I have done ok.

I was 16, and in a very serious, long term, loving, committed relationship. I don't regret it for a minute.

13, too young in my opinion but I had friends who were giving it up at 11 so I was the conservative one in my group. Pretty sad huh.
