Generally, people like to serve white wines with seafood. I would go with a chardonnay, which is a slightly dry, oaky white wine. Chardonnay grapes grow pretty easily and abundantly, which means that you can get a pretty good Chardonnay for under $10. Yellow Tail has a pretty good Chardonnay that's available at the grocery store for around $7. Yellow Tail also has a nice Riesling, which is a sweet white wine, that could also be nice with fish. It, too, runs around $7.

I like a good Riesling or a spumante if you want wine. But most of all I love a ice cold Sweet Tea and then save the wine for after dinner around the candle light next to the fireplace.

Chateau St. Michelle makes a good Reisling for about $7 a bottle, or Kendell Jackson Chardonay for about $12 a bottle, both are great with seafood.

Argyle 2004 Chardonnay - This is a delightful wine from the Williamette Valley of Oregon. This is a luscious Chardonnay with wonderful flavors of pear, butter, and apple. Definitely a best buy at only $13.29!

If Barefoot(they have all the normal types) is available in your area it is actually very good. It is inexpensive and has beat out a lot of higher priced wines at many wine tasting

Bogel is a good under $10 standby wine I use. Their chardonnay, merlot and cab are all very nice.
Meridian and Coppola also do nice chardonnay wine that is tasty and also around $10.
Ste. Michelle or Chateau St. Jean are also good picks for chardonnay or sav. blanc and are affordable.

Go to the Liquor store and tell them you want something cheap and good (Sweet/Dry) for seafood. IF, it a good store like the one I use the man/woman will take you right to what your Budget calls for and it be good.
