How about just walking up to her and saying, I really like you and would like to go out sometime. Here is my phone number (give it to her on a piece of paper) and say call me if you would like to go out also.

Don't be shy. Think about how you don't need to be shy ang go for a long jog. Read a book about courage. Pump yourself up and phisically and mentally. You can do it! Practice your vowel sounds and tell her you about how you feel.Lol! that sounded funny.

how about asking her for her phone # and calling her and asking her on the phone if she'll go out with you.
you could walk up to her and ask if would like to go see a movie with you.
