Ah, the joy of multi-functional alcohol. Yes, it can be both in the same way that a good curry is both nutritional and laxative.

I prefer red wine, alcohol with cholesterol lowering, antibacterial function.

A lager with laxative properties. However I do believe that Amstel (on tap) is by far the superior -as anyone who ever suffered from "Amstel bottom" will attest to

all beers are laxative, its all between the body and the amount swallowed. Years ago regular Bass drinkers would habitually carry a wad of toilet paper in their top pocket "Just in case"

Pub toilets are nothing to shout about, but over the years they have improved, some even have doors on them now but very few have toilet paper to hand..........

It's good for cleaning the drains so i would say its a laxative.

rubbish chemical laden catspiss.
