I am a communisty college student on the verge of graduating and transfering to a 4 year college. The thing is there is one course that I am taking( it has nothing to do with my major, it's a requirement) that I can get a very low grade or even fail. The course is really difficult, that's why I waited until the last semester to take it. How do you think I should deal with this stress?

First off, most stress comes from worry. So don't worry too much about it. Do the best you can. One thing that I personally found that helps with certain classes that are particularly difficult or just plain un-interesting, is when I sit down to start all my home-work, I do that class first. That way I start it fresh, and am alert. If I can't finish it all and/or it's really pissing me off, I'll put it aside do another, easier assignment, and then go back to it. It helps keep you focused and I found that I did better that way!

You said you could get a very low grade or even fail it. Did you mean it doesn't matter if you fail? If that is the case don't worry about it. If you mean that you are in danger of failing it and have to pass get a tutor----talk with other students who are doing better with the course, ask the instructor to help you, be rested when you go to that class and take a small tape recorder with you to help you remeber what was said. Don't study too long at a time. Remind yourself that you passed all the other courses and you can pass this too.

I would suggest hiring a tutor to help you with this course. Knowing that your going to do well will lower your anxiety about this course.
