You are 16 years old, which is old enough to take responsibility for a vehicle yourself. Your mother does not qualify for a car loan at this time, so that option is out. You can not get a loan until you are of legal age, so that again is not an option.

This leaves you two choices. One is to get a job, and save every penny that you can. When you have a good amount (say $2500) saved, start looking for a car that you can buy for cash.

The other choice is to whine about how things are not fair and you should get a car for your 16th birthday.

I would recommend that you work and get your own car. You will value it more.

Your mom has a lot on her plate just being a mom! cut her some slack and be a good kid respect her and help her out. better yet why don't you try paying all the bills and giving your mom what ever she wants when she wants it even if you can't afford it! you BRAT!!!!!!!!!

Get a job and help pay for it yourself! Go to a 'tote the note' place and get a used car. You are also going to have to think about gas, insurance, and any repairs that maybe needed.

Hi, get a job AND ask your grandparents to co-sign a loan. I'm sure they'll help you out! Or maybe someone else in your family will help you! Good luck!!
