My husband doesn't want me spend anything on him for christmas, but I have have the opportunity to get him the perfect gift. Something he's ben wanting to get all summer, but we never had quite enough money to just blow on something we didn't really need. I want to get him a new set of handle bars and a seat for our Harley. We know a friend who is selling these parts for just $100 for both. How do I make the money without him knowing about it?

There are some interesting answers here...the thing is, I have three small children and daycare prices are rediculous for three children, as are babysitting. I need something I can do with with my kids tagging along or in a short period of time when the grandparents aren't working....remember, I don't want my husband to know I'm doing this so if I have a yard sale, he'll get suspicious.

If you post a notice in an apartment building saying you'll do christmas housecleaning, you're sure to get some offers. Call ads in the paper and find out what the going rate is (so your prices aren't too high or low).
My aunt always gets someone in to help her tidy up for Christmas and so do many of the other seniors in her building. The woman who does her cleaning has so many jobs she can't handle them all and when my sis put an ad up, she had to turn work away. It's a great way to make some extra money for the holidays.

Well you can make a deal with his friend in getting them for exchange of baking him cakes, pies or going to his house clean it up till you equal the amount of money he wants. Or you can do his laundry iron his clothes. Or you can find out if someone can't cook or bake and seel them pies and cakes never can tell you might more money than you need. All you have to do is think someone needs help somehow. So good luck and hope you get them and surprise your husband.

Sell some household stuff or extra clothes, shoes...etc on ebay....list items for a 1 or 3 day auction and required payment be made in 3 days to a PAYPAL account (WWW.PAYPAL.COM)..then paypal will transfer money in your account ( it takes 3 days)

why don't you a mow lawns or walk dogs.... it can earn you some extra cash quick... charge about 5 dollars per walk and walk about 5 or 6 dogs a day.. not at the same time though it can really tire you out... also you can lose those pounds chrismas... kill two birds with one stone:)
