Weather is in the 30s with freezing wind and my short haired chihuahuas are shivering. What can I do so they don't freeze to death when they go outside to do their business? Is there some pet jackets or something I can get for them?

Most or all pet stores sell pet coats or sweaters for any size dog. There are also "doggie boots" that you can get to help keep the snow, if you get any, off of their little paws. I know Petco or Petsmart carry them. You can also try Walmart, they also carry the "doggie sweaters". Good luck!

When I foster an underweight chihuahua, I always put a sweater on them if I am chilly or if they act chilly. I have found that some of the seams in the clothes are rough to their armpits and I let them wear the sweaters inside-out. This also eliminates the problem of rough tags on the back of the neck.

I have a chihuahua too and it is normal for them to shiver. They just get to excited and crazy like that. My dog is always inside and with a blanket but she is always shivering. Just buy them at petco or Wal*Mart, the Wal*Mart are pretty cheap!

you can get them little dog sweaters or coats from almost any pet store or you can even go to walmart or target..i got my dogs sweater and coat from walmart..the sweaters cost about 5.00 and the coats cost about 10.00 at walmart..i hope that this helps
