Plenty of people get nervous, it's probably from fear of finding out a diagnosis, or just a fear of having to have certain tests done. Some people get "White Coat Syndrome". It's when their blood pressure rises when they visit a doctor, when their pressure is otherwise normal.

This is a common phenomena called "White Coat Syndrome", and something the Doctors have to guard against when taking your heart rate and blood pressure.
A study of people on a daily basis who took their vitals at home, and then compared them to those the doctor got, using exactly the same equipment showed up to a 20% higher reading at the doctors.
One of the reasons now they say that your blood pressure that is normal for you, should be the guideline on a regular basis.

I do. It's natural. Do not fear, my dear. It's unlikely you will get really bad news. Take it easy.
