I had my second hole pierced bout 3yrs ago and I have a bump there from the piercing its pretty noticeable is there anything I can do to make it go away so it can look normal?

if it has only just appeared in the last few weeks i would go get it check out - you never know these days. if it has been there pretty much since you got it done, its from where they didnt pierce the bone but cracked it. the lump will just be the bits of bone clumped together. of course if its in the lobe then get it checked out too.

What is it, like a small keloid? I use to have a bump in my nose from my nose piercing, it took about 5 years to go away, after I took the ring out.
Did you try to put a piece of jewelry in your ear that was larger than the hole?

Its called a keloid, my sister has one. The only thing you can do is to get it surgically removed but its not guaranteed that it will not come back. Here is a website that give you more information it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keloid

you could use alcohol or peroxide on a q-tip
