The only way to get a chear picture of your life is through the Holy Spirit and prayer. I prayed every day and asked for knowledge, and he gave me knowledge of my past life and all my mistakes. What was worse, he showed me how my life could have been different, and I could have been so happy if I had of let him have his way in my life. Now, I just have to live with my mistakes, and go on, and know that one day, Jesus Christ will make it all right, and then I will know true happiness. G

I am glad you asked. Yes I did some soul searching, however I don't think it was in the best of situations(deployment to Iraq). You might say it was th occasional explosions and the reports of friends coming back in peices but it happened to before that.
I was in a draining relationship and I had been known to go from woman to woman without even waiting. I would go from one broken relationship to the next.
Finally I said the h#$l with it. I said no relationships, just good friends. Speaking from a cancers point of view it was the most painful experience I could of ever went through. I have a passion of needing a woman around me at all times and I was like a crack head going through detox. Yep that intense. I accomplished this by doing the hardest thing you could do . . . . . . leave feelings out of the sex. I am a sexual person and that passion, that intimatcy can grab a hold of you and just won't let go. No I never miss led these woman by any means. I would let them know from the first conversation that I am not looking for a relationship and if we get together then it will be for sex or intamitcy only. Conversation to, but anyway, this lack of connection with no lies, they know where you are and what you are trying to do, helped me stay unattched. My only fear is that I have done it so long, would it be hard to stay faithful in a relationship. I don't think so, because I want one woman so badly that it hurts to sleep some times, but oh well, GOD will make a way for me.
Well through it all I now understand me, what I like, what I don't like, what makes me happy, I have learned to make me happy with out the approval of a woman. This journey has taken me 3 years but it is what I need or I would be one of the good guys married to the town loose woman. It has made me stronger and more focused. Now I see how some woman just get with guys for sex, build a secsessful carerr, and then there soulmate comes to them.
