No!, i totally disagree with anyone who thinks teen dating is not for real. I have a boyfriend, who i have been with for 3 years next march, and im 17 (18 in march). We love each other to bits, and enjoy each others company. My nan and grandad got together, at the same age, and they have been married 50ish years, My boyfriend mum and dad got together at 19 & 18, and have been married for 20ish years. Hope iv helped!

Very rarely does teen love last. Every now and then you will meet a couple who were high school sweethearts.

This doesn't mean that dating during teen years is useless at all! You need the social practice.

And I've never regretting loving anyone, even if my heart got broken. Love as much as you possibly can.

well...depends on who you ask of course...

i met my husband when i was 14, we started dating two years later, we got engaged 4 years later, and we got married 3 years later. we have been married for 3 years.
we never broke up and didn't fight until about a year ago. i believe people grow in different ways, not necessarily together and when you date as a teenager, you are simply playing the game...until you become an adult and know exactly what you want in a person you can be with for the rest of your life.

it can last if the two individuals in the relationship want it to last...so i would say it isn't necessarily useless...it is a growing process

You can't prove anything. Guys like to venture out and try new girls and you should date other guys. Love is a two way street and not everyone falls in love at the same time with the same person. Be kind and let him go. If he was meant to be yours he will come back. In the meantime you may find yourself falling for another guy. If you try to hard to hang on then you may come accross as desperate and nothing will turn a guy off faster.

It can, it is just not very likely, or I may also say healthy.

Dating teaches you what you want and don't want out of a future, life long, mate. It also teaches you how to get along, to give and take in a relationship without the stresses of marriage.

Remember there are a lot of people in this world, date several and do a LOT of contemplation before making a commitment to Marriage.

Good Luck and God Bless!

It can but ive had my heart broke a few times and ive broken a few hearts the thing is you cant be scared of getting your heart broken every time ive loved and lost ive also learned and with time you learn what you want in a girl and what to stay away from so dont be scared there is such a thing as high school sweet hearts so there always a chance but if not take it as a learning experience and use it to your advantage later in life

No it is not. Teenage love is perhaps the best love we will ever have. It is our very first love and even if there is a breakup they always remain buried in our hearts somewhere. for many people it does last. they dont say high school sweethearts for nothing. they have a better percentage of a better marriage to.

it all just depends on who the two people are who are dating sometimes you meet your soulmate when you are really young sometimes it takes time but it's supposed to be worth the wait dating during your teenage years is so you screw everything up now and have enough expirience so you don't get killed when you enter the dating scene when you get older

Of course it can last....it just usually doesn't.

Is the point of dating to win some longevity contest? The point of dating is to meet different kinds of people, to learn about others and yourself.

As you meet people you become aware of what you want in a long term mate--if you want a long term mate.

Dating is never pointless---it's part of who you are. Good choices, bad choices a few regrets--it's all part of your life!
