I believe spiritual grow is based on personal experiences, how you either succeed or fail in one endeavours or miss deeds, teaches you more about yourself, which is the very first step.
A pagan declaration to "Know thyself", is to me a very pragmatic and spiritual message, as in the case for self knowledge, aiding our own self forgiveness.
When William Blake declared that all religions are one, he and other dreamers were not smugging the issue, they were going their own way.
The theological and historical arguments against the three main religions domination and ownership of the Enterprise of God will always cast the shadow of doubt upon there honesty.
I would be insulted by any religion that judges me but would not except their own failings and deeds.
If there is a God (who can truly say?) then such a omnipresent essense, benevolent with ultra intelligence, would need no priests or Imams etc to convey to humanity nor stand between any man woman child etc, and the divine spirit.
I would expect to see lots of converging paths and lives all connected to the essense of truth.
Not one of them paths should be any religion without compassion, nor any person without kindness in their hearts.
I can imagine millions of individuals reaching out to a source
but in their own manner.

Smile at him. He can't condemn you to anything.
Remember that he, too, is part of the All.
Mint will take over your whole yard if it's given the opportunity. It's an invasive plant. It will kill off other plants. Your uncle is like that.
Just keep his comments in a segregated "pot" in your mind and , like mint, he'll be contained.
Don't argue with him. The more you resist, the more he'll persist.
He only has as much power as you give him, in your life.
And there's probably nothing you can say to change his mind, but why would you want to, really?
On the other hand, if he insists on telling you about this every time you see him, tell him nicely that it's not a conversation you intend to have - ONCE - and then if he persists, just walk away without explaining a second time.
If you are consistent in doing that, he'll eventually come to the conclusion himself that if wants to have a relationship with you he'll have to stop talking to you about religion.
And if he doesn't stop, you'll know that it's more important for him to be "right" than to have a warm relationship with you. At that point it's up to you to decide if you want to have a relationship with him that goes beyond being in the same room at family gatherings.

Someone I knew became a Jehovah's Witness and was told by his church elders that I was a demon and he should not be my friend, anymore. When he told me this (in a letter) I was shocked and appalled by the arrogance and idiocy of the people who could make such a statement and expect it to be taken seriously then shocked and appalled all over again as I realised that he was, indeed, taking it seriously and I was reading a sort of religious 'Dear John' letter. It's too stupid to feel insulted about even though it is obviously intended to be insulting. That sort of insult only backfires causing injury to their own intelligence. Naturally, it's an unpleasant thing to witness but don't confuse the feeling of anguish it provokes with the sense of being insulted. That's not what's happened. You're feeling bad FOR your uncle because of the mental damage he does to himself, not the insult he's trying to inflict on you.

If your uncle really is a Jehovah's Witness then he wouldn't have "condemned you to hell" because JW's don't believe in a fiery place of torment as the word "hell" implies. If he condemned you, then I would have liked to hear your part in the conversation that had to have taken place before that.

Sadly, this so-called "question" seems intent on misrepresenting Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses preach a message of "good news", and leave all judging for Jehovah and Jesus to perform "on the last day".
(Acts 10:36,42) Declare to them the good news of peace through Jesus Christ: this One is Lord of all others. ...this is the One decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead
(John 11:23-25) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” 24 Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.
(John 12:48-49) The word that I [Jesus] have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment
(John 8:16) if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me
(Matthew 12:36) They will render an account concerning it on Judgment Day
(John 5:22,27-30) [The Father] has committed all the judging to the Son... 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out... I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
(Acts 17:30-31) God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus] whom he has appointed
In addition, Jehovah's Witnesses are quite famous for teaching that "hell" does not exist as Christendom has taught it; God has *NOT* arranged for any such place of fiery torment for sinners in some netherworld. The original Hebrew and Greek words most commonly translated as "hell" actually refer to the common grave of mankind; the Scriptures point forward to a time after Armageddon when humans will live forever and death and "hell" are themselves destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

He may believe you are going to hell, but unless he's been suddenly appointed God he can't send you there. Only God has judgement over us, not people. You're not going to be able to change his mind, but you can be at peace that he doesn't have the final say over your religious beliefs and/or final destination.

I would encourage you to think about who is the more 'godly' person! Anyone who condemns anyone else to hell can't represent my idea of a god (whatever that is!). And I thought it was up to god to decide who's going to hell or not in any case!

Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. His sacrifice for us is the only way we can escape judgment. By being a neo-pagan, you have rejected Christ as your Savior. All you have to do to escape hell/judgment is to trust in Jesus Christ. You do this by praying directly to Him, wherever you are just tell Him. If you're not sure He exists, ask Him to show you. He will. Don't reject Christ on some fad religion such as wicca or neo-paganism. Jesus Christ is the only way.
