Man and woman been going out for 6 years.
Man wants kids, woman doesnt.
Separate until after xmas to review their relationship
met up since just for drinks, man realises feelings are strong enough for him to stay with her and forfeit having children.
THe next time they meet he brings up getting back together and she says she doesnt want to talk about it till after xmas.
In the meantime its her 30th birthday coming up and he asks if he can go and she says no.
Do you think she wants to get back with him?

by her not wanting him to go to her 30th would make me suspect she doesnt want anything more to do with him. tell your mate not to get her any b/day or xmas presents. wanting to talk about things later means she doesnt want to talk about it at all. sorry but it seems your mate is getting dumped, look for a woman that wants kids with him, stays with her he'll waste another 6 years without being a dad. whats best sleeping with a woman who doesnt want kids or 5 years from now video taping his sons/daughters first steps. i know what i'd choose

Having children is the greatest thing a person can do, well that and raise them right. DO NOT fore fit having kids for no woman, she is obviously not interested in anyone but her self, and no she doesn't want to get back together, Think do you really want to live a life not knowing the joy that having kid's brings?. you know you don't so go out there and find a good woman, a kind and caring, child loving woman.

Find some one that does want you around for their mile stone birthday, & holidays. Find someone that wants the same things in life as you; like kids! No, she obviously does not want you back. She is stringing you along for insurance. You have become her "back up man".

i mean what the f+++ does she mean he can't come to her birthday what is she intending to do that he cant be there for! ( sorry women like this get me angry)
also tell him that the feeling that he has for her now will not be as strong as the hurt he'll feel if she end it
and another thing what if that 'lady' get pregnant during
x-mas and then has sex with him and claims that it's his baby the poor fool gonna be duped (no this is not from a film I've seen it happen...twice)

If she doesn't want someone who she's spent 6 years of her life with to come to her 30th birthday party then I'm pretty sure that she doesn't want him in her life. Sorry...

No I would say that she does not want him back and I would say don't let yourself get hurt and if you want very different things from the relationship that is always a bit of a non starter.

Nope, I did the same exact thing and didn't get back with my ex..infact, I told him I had feeling for someone else. I was just holding on to him because I was comfortable with him and I always knew we would get back together.

I think your friend need to cut his losses she does seem interested he needs to move on and find someone that wants the same things in life that he does i wish him well

i think she is with someone else or else she really wants some alone time before deciding she wants this one man for the rest of he life that is a big commitment
