If you are lucky & get one of the new planes that most companies have they have individual entertainment systems. This means you can pick films you want to watch or listen to music a bit like making a play list on an mp3 player. The only disadvantage of them is that the screen is a bit close to you as it is in the head rest of the seat in front.

If not get yourself a good book & take that, you'll get tired after reading for a while & will be able to sleep.

Take some music, take something like a game boy or some books... I usually watch 3 movies and then I'm there... The best thing to do though is sleep if you can...

ooh...i'd recommend listening to music, watching an in-flight movie or three, reading and trying to sleep, depending on where you're flying to-and don't forget food and water! most airlines serve snacks, but in some economy classes, it can be bloody expensive

Watch a movie. They normally have them on long flights, or you can buy a magazine or a puzzle book.

Pick an In-Flight movie that you REALLY want to see, then sit back...relax.
Then, If your like me, you'll be fast to sleep in 10 seconds.
I have missed most of the movies I wanted to watch.
..But, as they say...Time Flies...lolol

If you can afford it get an iPod - you can load all your favourite songs and just listen to them. I downloaded a classical selection as well for chillout times - is excellent.
