Your TV will stop working.
If it's with a low-velocity round then you will have a hole in the screen and the bullet will most likely get lodged somewhere inside your TV, if it's with a high-velocity round then you will still have a hole in the screen but the bullet will quite possibly come out of the back leaving another, larger hole in the back of your TV!!
Either way it 'aint never going to work again.

Great question! Basically it would blow up, but it would depend on the angle the bullet entered and exited the set. Test it next time there's a Reality Celebrity show on, or another countdown of nations favourite whatevers... who ever votes for them?! (And how?!)

You should send this to mythbusters. Seriously they'd love it. All you have to do is come up with some myth like "If you shoot a tv, it will explode," and they'll do it.
