I'm trying to lose 15 pounds before Christmas. Which is better to eat for breakfast grits or oatmeal? And what about juices?

Look at the calories. If they are close, eat the one to which you add the least amount of extras.

No cream, syrup, sugar, butter should be added to either.

Best to eat the one you prefer. If you suffer, you will never stick to your diet.

Oatmeal. Definitely! I started eating a bowl of oatmeal a day along with tons of water and i dropped 5 pounds like that! Just make sure that you're eating healthy overall.

if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.

1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day

2.) drink lots of water

3.)exercise every day

4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.

I think it'd be about the same cuz I load my grits with butter and my oatmeal with brown sugar and syrup. maybe you should try whole-grain cereal instead. Definately Grapefruit juice, it has fat-busting properties.
