Hi Judas. The thirty coins were the price of a slave, and worth in todays money, about 30-40 dollars. A case of beer.

People sell out Jesus like Judas every day.

They sell Him for a few more hours sleep on Sunday Morning, and That Big Game on Sunday Night.

They sell Him for That TV Program on Wednesday Night that they just can't miss.

They sell Him for a Sunday at The Beach, "after all the fish don't bite like this every day."

They sell Him for that other woman/man that they just can't live without.

They sell Him for That Promotion, and all the prestige it will bring, so they look the other way, fail to be accountable, and no one ever knows they are a Christian.

Yes, we all have sold Jesus out at one time or another.
