Yes, over time it will make your tattoos fade. UV light, which is in sunlight and in tanning beds, reacts with the ink in a tattoo, and can cause it to break down over time. Just look at anyone who works outside (or at a trucker's left arm).. their tattoos lose their definition and get blurry/faded over time.

Just put a little high-spf sunscreen over your tattoo (which is a good idea anyway if it's exposed, not just when you're tanning).

YES, they will fade over time if you don't take care of them which include the sun and tanning booths. It isn't that hard to cover them with sunscreen and you will be glad in the long run.

Over time (20 yrs) maybe. I have 3 tattoos, I tan and they haven't faded and I've had mine for over 10 yrs.

Probably.

Sun is not good for your tattoos. At all.

That's why you're always supposed to keep your tattoos protected with sunscreen.

Why waste your money getting skin cancer in a tanning bed anyway?

Yes. If you have tattoos, you should already know this. I know that when I got mine, they told me this before I went ahead with it.
