Bible is the real word of God . Bible is written in cronologic order ,Ouran is not ,and there is truth in the Bible becouse what prophets predicted in the Old Testament, became true in The New testament . Bible can be translated in all languages of the earth without loosing its meaning , ( Quran cannot be translated without loosing its meaning ) altough muslims says there are manny versions of Bible ,all version of the Bible carry the same messages .The difference between versions are due to the translations ,are small and insignifiant ,u will not find one single Bible saying that Jesus is not Son of God . Muslims just use those small differents between different translations to attack the Bible .Quran is just a pathethic copy of Bible containing manny historical errors ,contradicting flagrant with the Bible . All prophets from the Bible got their revelations from God directly without any intermediars only Mohamed got his revelations trough an angel . Bible warned us do not trust another Evangelia even if an angel bring it !! Becouse satan can change himself into an angel of light just to deceive people !2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

In Matthew 24 Daniel 11:31 9:27 12:11 and Revelation 14:9 We are warned of one who will come, who will set about to deceive the whole world !!

They are both book of revelation. It seems to me that the Old Testament in the Bible is more accurate than the New Testament. Frankly speaking I don't like the idea of John said that Jesus said...
I enjoy reading the book of revelation because there are aspects there that are similar in the Quran. Also, the concept of the virgin Mary and also Jesus are similar, as well as Abraham, Noah, and Moses. Similar stories I mean.
The Quran for me is 100% truth. There is no author (i.e. John etc) because God himself sent the messege to Muhammad with Gabriel. Every year Gabriel would come and have Muhammad recite what he had learned that year and to correct any mistakes there might have been with the memorization. The verses were written down on and later gathered. I also like the aspect of the science in the Quran. What other book as old as that can talk about the earth being spherical and rotating on it's axis, talk of space travel, talk about how the mountains are formed under the earth, etc.?

Hope this helps you.

Both are fiction, but the bible is unquestionably the greater fiction. Well Mohammad was flying on a carpet and surely that’s a myth but there’s not too much of that in the Koran. Now in the bible you also have prophets flying into the sky in blazing chariots, but you additionally have talking donkeys and not to mention that enormous fire-breathing hippopotamus with glowing eyes.

Hi, the one main conclusion for me is that the Koran is a selective book that is for Muslims alone, while the Bible seeks to reach all humanity with it`s message.

I've read both and can say, with honesty, that the Old Testament seemed rather a bit iffy and full of superstition..

It's the New Testament which is inspiring mainly because of Jesus Christ's Wisdom and Charisma.

The Koran, incidentally, is made up of the Torah, aka the Old Testament; the Injeel, aka the Muslim version of the New Testament and the Hadiths, the marginal notes of Mohammad and others.

Frankly speaking, the life of Mohammad is anything but inspiring.

And the "Faith", itself, is very questionable.

Surprisingly, so many of them believe in it blindly and even try to find reasons why they should believe in it.

To me, however, it has helped me strengthen my Faith in Jesus Christ.

The Coran and the Bible belong to the same litterary category: Middle Eastern legends written collectively by many different authors.

They are both interesting though a bit difficult to read.
They are still a hit in book sales today which attest to their litterary value.

I've only read portions of the Koran. My impression is that it is a book written by a founder of a new religion who took portions of an established religion and incorporated them into the new one in order to give it legitimacy just like the book of Mormon is.

I have read both, and my faith in the One True God is more confirmed. How two Men living at different times in different places can inspire mankind with such similar and sublime thoughts!

I converted from Christianity to Islam. Christianity teaches that because of what one woman did, all humanity is going to hell and women are basically property of their husbands. Christianity also says that the very birth of a woman is a loss, praises those who dash the heads of babies against rocks, praises the ripping open of pregnant women, and is just anti woman in general. The Quran protects women, admonishes men for being oppressive, and says that the very birth of a woman is a blessing. Heaven is under the mother's feet, take good care of your mother in her old age for she gave birth to you in weakness upon weakness and gave up everything for herself in preference of you. The Quran also says women can be just as much a part of society as men and that women have rights in general.
