Well, you are confusing me, your first question seems to be a satirical question, while the second seems to make me think you believe in god. Ofcourse if you don't believe in god, your definition of sin will be different than what god believing people have. I believe that lying to oneself is generally not a good thing, ya gotta be honest with yourself and have a clear idea of who you are, not who you pretend to yourself to be. So yeah, in that sense it is a sin.
Now will god punish you for it? I think that just realizing what stupidity a person did by lying to oneself and possibly the consequences is enough, you learned your lesson.
God or not, learning is the key.

if he does exist, I'm not saying he does or doesn't, he probably won't count it against you. It sounds as if you are trying to convince yourself of his existance and in the Bible it mentions that he looks at the heart blah blah blah. If you are talking about another god then I dunno, but lying to yourself is not a stereotypical sin it's just trying to convince yourself of something that deep down you want to believe in but can't for some reason * I am not a Christian and I'm not one to judge I'm just stating what I have learned from being raised in the church by two Christian parents*

The only way to be punished is if he exists in which case you are not lying

I don't believe in sin though I believe in a god, and the only lie is this illusion we are living now.

ok your question doesnt make sense to me. You believe there is sin yet not God? how can there be sin if there is not God? why would you be worried about this if you do not believe in God?

All your questions mock God or people who believe in God. I hope He forgives you.

LOL!
Well since god is non-existent, I don't think they have much to worry about.
