Sorry to hear about your situation. Sounds like hell. 17 years ha? Noone can help you but you. First, concentrate on getting yourself together. A job. Than do something for yourself, buy a motorcycle or something that you have always wanted. Make a list of where you want to be in the next year. Get back into life. I'm sure she has. Dont let her take another day from you she already has done that! If you drink STOP. Get into one of those online dating services and mostly stop feeling sorry for yourself, I know its hard to hear, but its the truth. Make a change today. you can do it Good luck! You devoted 17 years of your life to her, now its your turn. Not all women are like that, there are still a few good ones out there.

Its called mild depression or breakdown and I went through it years ago during the breakdown of my own marriage.
You need to regroup your thoughts, create new dreams and ambitions and then set a workable plan to attain them. Start with baby steps at the beginning until you get a sprint going.
If revenge is a great motivator for you as it was for me, the best revenge is to be independently successful. I can't tell you how good it feels to now be financially secure, have a sporty new car bought and paid for in the driveway and a good roof over my head. Something I never had in marriage! Oh and my awesome kid living with me full-time too!
Bottom line, start with small attainable goals and big dreams and grow from there and see where it takes you.
The journey is often as much fun as the destination. Good luck!

You gotta start somewhere, don't be down on yourself too much. I know during the holiday season, it's tough but just tell yourself it's temporary and begin with small steps. Good luck

The only one can really do it is you. you have to start thinking good about yourself and set goals. do it one day at a time. try going to some organzations. or singles clubs. you need to get out more. sitting alone does not help. good luck.
