I worked as a bartender for a couple starting in 1994. Really liked the Mrs. We became very good friends, went out to shows, went drinking, just doing what friends do. All very platonic. Beginning in late '98, they started having some rough times, split up, and eventually got divorced. She and I stayed friends, until late '99 when we finally 'got together'. We got married in 2001, and it has been the greatest thing to happen to either of us. We knew each other so very well, she was my best friend before, and still is. So yes, it was as good. Much luck to you in yours.

When I was 16, I met this man briefly! He was married and much older, but I was sooooo attracted to him! I think he must have been to me too, because he kept staring back at me! Anyway, I never saw him again for 20 years! Then one day he walked into my job place. I just stood there with my mouth hanging open I think. He says, "Do I know you?" I said, "No, but I wish you did!" He started laughing, and then I reminded him of when we first met 20 yrs previous. He tells me he's not married now, and I'm not either! So we dated for about 4 months. The sex and the attraction was great, but the age difference ended up being too much for both of us. We are still friends though, and it was really special to have been able to fulfill that old fantasy!

I waited about seven months and it was worth it. We're still together now but even if we broke up I wouldn't regret what I had with her because it's been the best time of my life.

About a year before I finally caught him.
I released him 4 days after that, he turned out to be a self obsessed phoney.

Hmm, 1.5 year.

He was my boss, a very attractive CFO of a big company. I left the job to go back to studing and came over to his place to say thank you ... we wound up kissing all night. 3 months later my husband left me for another woman and I called this CFO right away. 4 days later i had one of those "best dates" of my life.
But I am still seing if its going to work out.
that date was definetely worth it.
