I would do this:
I would make sure i am where you are. While I am there I would be too quite (more than you are that is) and stare at you real hard.
If you decided to walk away I would follow you to wherever. All this to make you feel uneasy.
If you are human you would say something, I can assure you of that. ( I have tried it before. I made him talk. He said "Whats wrong with you!" It works!!)

depends on you and just how much you are trying not to. I would probably try to make you laugh but, since I'm not the best joke teller you would probably say something just to get me to stop telling bad jokes.
