Hey Roxanne,

I found abunch of comments about the place.

I suggest you contact this person, look at the second site where she posted messages:
Carolyn (Peggi) Thompson
206-322-0473
pegsturf1@comcast.net

Either ask her for a picture directly, or post asking if there is one available. They may be able to send it email.

I put 2 other searches, one for the family, the other for GENFORUM. Both places are likely to have people you can ask, who are associated with the Manor. Hope you get the pic. Sounds like a trip might be in order.

As far as I can see, Polkinghorne Manor in Hayle, Cornwall in the parish of Gwinear is now run as a farm by a chap called Thomas Laity. His contact details are as follows,

T H E Laity
Polkinghorne Manor Hayle
Cornwall TR27 5LH
01736 850228

I can't find a picture on the internet (not a surprise if its privately owned) but perhaps you could contact Mr. Laity.

I may have cracked it (but I may not have!). I understand that Polkinghorne Manor is now known as Lanyon Manor or Lanyon Farm. They currently advertise holiday cottages and the second link below goes to them. I have been informed that the thumbnail top right of the home page is the manor house. I'm not convinced as it looks the wrong age, but hopefully it will give you something to go on.
