A concert or roast beef supper or any other event .. a set admission fee says HOW MUCH you have to pay in order to attend.

A "freewill offering" says you don't have to pay to attend, but there will be an offering box or offering plate at the door or someone will "pass the hat" for a "collection" of monies.

What does it accomplish. A "freewill offering" does allow those who feel they don't have the amount of money for a paid admission still to attend; and if the money goes to a "good cause" some people will actually put in more than a "set fee" if they feel the event was good.

You are trying to make sense of the Bible without the Holy Spirit - without spiritual eyes. If you come to know Jesus and believe on Him - you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free. I pray you find Him - Jesus - before it is too late.

No idea.
It sounds like more religious rhetoric designed to keep the sheep from thinking for themselves.
And we all know that independent thought is the #1 enemy of religion.
