First off, you need a haircut, thats the only way you can get rid of split ends. Next, if your hair is dry, this is an easy and quick moisturizer for your hair. Go to your local grocery store, preferably Wild Oats where it is the cheapest, and purchase some Coconut Oil. Mix the Coconut oil with real mayonaise, and massage into your dry hair. Leave this moisturizing mixture in your hair for about 1-2 hours, then shower and shampoo & condition. A great shampoo for dry hair is "Special Tea Tree Shampoo" by Paul Mitchell. They do not sell that shampoo in drug or grocery stores, you will have to go to a salon to buy it. A wonderful conditioner that will leave your hair silky smooth is any Graham Webb conditioner, which you will also have to purchase at a salon. My hair gets very dry in these winter months, and applying that moisturizer to my hair once a week keeps my hair nice and moist! Good luck! And say goodbye to your limp, dry hair!

HEY:):):):)
No hun, there's no product to get rid of split ends. There are tons to prevent them though! If you already have split ends, get a trim so you can get rid of them once and for all. To get your hair healthy and to not have any more split ends coming back look up the Pro Natural’s hair care line. It’s online and they have all kinds of products you can use so just choose one. Split ends aren't repairable, they can only be trimmed and then prevented. Try asking a stylist to do a very small trim, then I suggest you use argan oil to prevent any more split ends. My fav brand is Pro Natural’s Moroccan Argan oil, it's free from silicones so your hair can only get better by using this. You can get it online. It is really good:):):):).

I'd say, get a trim to remove all the split ends, then get a shampoo without harsh detergents (Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate - Ammonium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate) usually found in health food stores (*I like Alba Botanica) and after showering, while still damp, apply an oil from the ends up to the scalp (*only use a few drops ... depending on length of hair, for example, mine is shoulder length and I use four drops) and then, if possible, let hair air dry. Also, don't brush hair or comb hair too often when it's wet. That can break some strands ... and comb from the ends upwards. As for oils, I use to use Weleda's Rosemary Oil which had some Peanut Oil in it. It was ten dollars but lasted me a year. Now, I've tried the drugstore carrot oil which was about two-three dollars and it's just as good.

Get the split ends cut off so they won't get worse, and then use GOOD hair care products. I had pretty sad hair most of my life and finally broke down, at the suggestion of my stylist, about 4 yrs ago and started using Redken products...my hair is in the best shape it's been my whole life (I'm 41).
The good stuff you buy in salons really is better than what you can get in the supermarket...although I'd resisted spending money on it for years...
Get a stylist to suggest good products for your type of hair and what can prevent the splits once you get a trim...also, try sleeping on a satin pillowcase...it's less harsh on your hair at night when you move your hair around...especially if you have fine hair (as I do)...

I agree with everyone else. CUT YOUR HAIR! I'd also like to clear up a fallacy. For all of you who are trying to grow your hair out but not ever getting it trimmed, your hair will stop growing. Split ends are not good for your hair. It stops growing as fast when it's not healthy. Get your hair trimmed 1/4 - 1/2 an inch every month, and you will notice that it grows alot faster.

there is nothing the cures split ends, though there might be a product that makes them less noticable. The best thing though, is to get your hair trimmed to keep it looking healthy.
