I have 2 budgies a female & male but I can't get the to have babies
and yes I put a nestbox.

they have been to the vet the are a male & female. the female is 2 years old & the male is 4.

they are right by the front door they get lots of light

Budgies or parakeets will breed all year round if you give them warm comfortable condition with 12 to 14 hours of full spectrum lighting.
I find they breed better if there is more than one pair.
They don't have to be in the same cage so long as they can see each other.
They are flocking birds and feel much safer in larger groups.
One pair on their own seldom breed if at all.

First how old are they?

Are you absolutly sure that you have a male and a female, it is very easy to be told by the breeder/pet shop that you have but later find out you have two males.

Are they getting plenty of light, they will not breed if kept in a gloomy room.
