Hi,
I am a Chihuahua breeder north of Gainesville and I will be having 3 female Chi ready next week, I don't do pet stores because they charge to much we ask $350. for short haired and that includes health cert, ckc registration, first shots, and puppy pack. We get 450. for long haired females and 400. for the long haired males which will be ready the end of Jan.. If your really interested I can email you pix of the ones that will be ready next week.

do a local search for chihuahua rescues or breeders. sometimes the american kennel club actually has referrals for breeders but they are sometimes a lot more expensive because of them being akc registered. i love chihuahuas but if you want to see something really cute do a web search for micro mini chihuahuas...no bigger than a dollar bill full grown. i would have one too if i didn't travel so much.

very long hair is nice but requires servicing and u have to grow it out for a long time

Look in the newspaper... There are plenty of peeps in there. Alot are dealers but a few are just peeps wanting to get rid of the dogs. Hey and try the humane society.

go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and enter breed wanted, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....i recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out.....try it.....do a good deed.....adopt a female Chihuahua today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for a female Chihuahua as a new pet !!!!......most adoptions run between $ 50 to $200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, who will be very happy to be your new pet !!!

I prefer hair which is shoulder length or longer, As well as since that men who like ladies are more often then not straight, they like long hair because it looks more feminine, as most males have short hair.
