My baby is 3 mos. and he's looking like he's getting a flathead. I saw an article in a baby mag of this Cinis Baby Halo (its kind of a doughnut for the baby's head). Any experience with that. Any advice?? Beside rolling a towel and putting it on his side. He'll push it and he's back on his back.
Help... Liz

I'm sorry I don't know about the Cinis Baby Halo, so I cannot recommend using it, though you could ask your pediatrition about using it. Normally some of the flatness will go away on its own. Some simple ways to help prevent flathead is to change the baby's orientation in the crib every day. The baby will usually like to turn his head to look out into the room, so one day place him with his head at the head of the bed, next day place him with his head at the foot of the bed. To help encourage a young baby to turn his head to the side, put a mobil or other interesting pictures or objects for him to look at on the room side of his crib. Also, while the baby is awake, you should place him on his tummy several times daily. This not only takes pressure off the soft bones in his head, it encourages strong muscle development. Give the little sweetie a snuggle for me :)

Get under a pediatrician and demand a referral. Alot of times, if you rub the baby's head in a circular motion some of the flatness will possibly go round...I would not want to do the halo just yet because the bones are still soft for manipulation...

My son is 11yrs previous and has been clinically determined with Asperger's. I firmly have faith that I even have Asperger's from all that I even have examine and discovered approximately it. It explains me interior and out. Why do you ask? Edit: Ah... is clever. i think of like ADHD in the previous it that it rather is a tad over clinically determined... being the 'in' element at present. yet i might extremely that is over clinically determined than exceeded over. rather regardless of the undeniable fact that... if we could persuade the international to handle human beings as persons and stop having this style of superb style of expectancies on what all 'x 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds' or 'boys' or the different team 'could' be... then it is not correct plenty who replaced into an Aspie or different such issues. i like understanding what it rather is that make me and my son so 'diverse'... yet interior the tip... all of us is diverse! If human beings weren't predicted to stay by making use of 'the gang's' policies then Aspies might have plenty much less to rigidity approximately interior the 1st place!

Use doughnut pillow as much, as you can and ater your baby starts to spend more time in upright position, it will go away naturally in most cases.
