We believe Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God just like Moses (pbuh) or Abraham (pbuh).

We believe in his virgin birth, we believe he performed all of his miracles in the name of God and with the guidance of God.

We believe he spent 3 days in hell .......... we believe he ascended to Heaven

We don't believe he was crucified ........we believe God replaced Jesus' (pbuh) body with a same looking man

We believe Mary (may Allah be pleased with her) is the example of pious woman and she will be the Queen of all women in Heaven

Jesus (pbuh) is waiting in Heaven right now for a time to come when he will return and unie us in one religion - islam

We also believe in Anti-Christ (Djelal) and we know that God will send Jesus (pbuh) back to fight him ..... by love of course

We follow Jesus' (pbuh) teachings of unconditional love

By the way, Qur'an talks more about Jesus (pbuh) than about Muhammed (pbuh) - Resulullah is mentioned by name only 4 times in Qur'an

I hope this helps u to understand

We practically believe in everything u do .......... we just don't believe in the concept of Holy Trinity or of Jesus' (pbuh) divinity

Islam is exactly as Christianity. It is a religion. A religion is mans (women too!) way of interpreting things that they don't understand. Different areas of the world grew to interpet 'god' in different ways. Islam is predominatly in the middle east, Christianity in Europe, until the 19th and 20th centurys Islam didn't come out of the middle east. Christianity had already spread throughout the world by that point. I am not hating on religion, it is a wonderful thing for people, it drives hopes, aspirations, and dreams.

Any and every religion is the same, simply your translation of god.

Yes and no..
Both descend from the monotheist belief grounded in Abraham who was told by God to leave Iraq and settle in Cannan, modern day Israel and Palestine. Abraham had two sons Ishmael and Issac. through Ishmael the prophet Mohamed was born, and through Issac Judism and Christianity. Both believe in one true God. Jesus was born around 4-6 BC and Mohamed around 600 AD. The Koran refrences Jesus but claims he was not the awaited messiah merely a prophet of Allah, the God of Islam.
The differences are many so i will limit my comments to few. True Christians spread their belief, which Jesus commanded, through love. That is not to say that there has not been perversions of this throughoout history. However the Koran teaches that it is every Muslims duty to try convert everyone to Islam. The Kafir, unbeliever, has three choices. They can convert to Islam, be subjected as a third class citizen, or death. The bible does not teach this, it teaches that each person has the right to believe what they will, and only God can be their judge.
Both disagree on heaven and the avenue to get there. Heaven to Christian is to be in the presence of God and enjoy His glory and this can be obtained through the belief that Jesus died for all sins, transgressions. Musims believe that entry into heaven is at the whim of Allah unless you have been martyred in which case you are assured of heaven. The Bible was written by several eyewitnesses of Jesus and a few after while the Koran is a relevation given to Mohamed. I challenge everyone to read both and decide for yourself. Unfortunately, most Muslims will not do this because of religious restrictions and many Christians will not because they have disregarded it out of principle. I hve read both and will say that I beleive in Jehovah God of the Bible. Bless you all

Very different. Christianity is about Jesus Christ. One who died but was raised to life again to judge the living and the dead at the end of days. Islam on the other hand is about the teachings of Muhammed, one who died and was gone long time ago and is not coming back ever again.

Islam and Christianity are two great religion of God, but nowadays Christianity suffered many changes.
And the best example is that Christians have too many Holly Bibles.

It's similar. There are few differences. 1 is that we believe that Jesus (PBUH) was a prophet and his very birth was a miracle to show he was not a liar by God. 2 is that women are people in Islam and part of society, unlike the bible which commits so many atrocities against women in BOTH the new testament and the old testament. And 3, that we worship ONE God, not three.

In some respects. People with power will always pervert the teachings of their faith in order to promote their brand of understanding. In practice, Islam is different than Christianity because they are based on different faith systems.

One would have to be a lie therefore they can not be the same. Christianity believes that God is righteous and can not simply forgive sin and that all of us are sinners therefore God came in the flesh to pay the penalty of death for us. Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of all who accept his atonement. Jesus is the son of God and God in the flesh. Muslims do not believe Allah can have a son or does have a son or that Christ died on the cross to atone for sin or that it is necessary for anyone to atone for sin but that god can simply forgive you. Christians believe if God is in agreement with sin by simply saying it's ok that you sinned than God is no longer righteous. Now we have a dilemma for Muslims who get there religion from the Christian God and their holy scripture call previous scripture holy and yet they are not in agreement... it has left Muslims with no other recourse but to call the word of God corrupt even though their scriptures call them holy.

No. Christianity believes that Jesus is God. Islam considers Jesus only to be a prophet.

Islam is the last & most complete and reserved religion.
Muslims worship only ONE GOD(ALAH).
Have ONE holly book(QURAN).
Beleive in ALL prophets & messengers of ALAH.
Christians nowdays:
Worship 3 !!!
Have SEVERAL holy books(bibles).
& dont beleive in Muslims prophet.
Thats the main differences.
