I'm 16, ft 4.5inches tall, 112lbs, 22% body fat, female and I was wandering if it really does stunt your growth. And if it does then what should the weight limit be on certian parts of body(Abs,legs,ect.)

Recent research has shown that lifting weights does not stunt the growth of youths. That is, as long as they're not power-lifting. Regular lifting (higher reps, lower weights) does not have any effect on the growth of youths...regardless of age. I forgot where I read this article, but it also says that bodybuilding-type lifting (power-lifting) does stunt growth, however. But as far as regular lifting...no...

it stunts small childrens growth, like kids before 12 years old. u re 16, u might train with weights. anyway, i don't think u should lift too heavy weight.
wow, just noticed u have 22% fat. honey, i don't think that weight training is proper for u. u don't lose weight by lifting weight, u gain it. i suggest for losing body fat use cardio. do weight training as an addition to aerobic
