The Bible says thou shall not kill, so why did the christian church take it upon themselves once they had became linked with the Crown & Govenment to erradicate all earlier beliefs? They called the gods of the nature religions devils & demons and accused there followers of laying curses & practising foul magic then hunted these poor people down, arrested them, sacrificed them, executed them, then brang in special laws to cover their crimes. Incentives in terms of land & money of those convicted were provided to encourage people to report their neighbours and fellow villagers. Can you really say that this is a GOOD religion to be apart of???

ALL religion is evil, The major "ultimate truths" all have the END OF THE WORLD as their stated and sought after goal. They should all be marginalized, if not outright destroyed, to protect Humanity from them trying to carry out this goal.

>>>The Bible says thou shall not kill, so why did the christian church take it upon themselves once they had became linked with the Crown & Govenment to erradicate all earlier beliefs?

This is a lie. There is no evidence of this revisionism.

>>>They called the gods of the nature religions devils & demons and accused there followers of laying curses & practising foul magic then hunted these poor people down, arrested them, sacrificed them, executed them, then brang in special laws to cover their crimes.

This is another lie. Modern day pagans have their own history written in the 18th century that has no truth to it whatsoever.

>>>Incentives in terms of land & money of those convicted were provided to encourage people to report their neighbours and fellow villagers. Can you really say that this is a GOOD religion to be apart of???

Another anti-Christian lie propagated by ignorant bigots exploiting people's fear and ignorance. There is not one single reliable historian that would support these false, hateful allegations. Next time, provide one, instead of inflicting perscution on a religion you don't understand.

What Bible are you reading? THE Bible does not say you shall not kill. It does say, "Whoso sheds man's blood by man shall his blood be shed." (Genesis 9:6) and the Christians were the ones that were hunted down and butchered by the Catholic church. That is why we have protestants today because true Christians could not accept what the Catholic church was doing any more than you do.
You really should get your facts straight before you make accusations.

Again, you're someone who is using examples of PEOPLE to cite examples of a RELIGION. They are two separate things and people may or may not represent the religion properly. In fact, most of the time they don't.

Chriistianity is the the epitome of religion and way of living, and I'm speaking of the religion itself, not people.

Liberals, however, don't want to believe that there's a difference, and I understand that.

Then your question should read: Did Christians became evil by not following the bible? Why do you want to blame God for what The people are doing?

Blame the individuals not Christianity. If those people were led by the Holy spirit they would not do those evil things.
