i agree you should be excepting of your significant other for who they are.. and not try and change them.. i mean why would you want to change someone into something they are not..
if they aren't what you want.. then find what you want.. cause if you try and change someone.. they arent going to be happy about it.. and neither will you in the long run

You can only change a person if they WANT to be changed. This could be the "partier boys" way of saying they would like to change. A "straight edge girl" maybe what they are looking for, but if someone tries to change them too much, they'll most likely turn away. You can't force a change out of someone who doesn't want it. Another reason these guys change is because they are looking to slow down, or settle down.

It probably just because guys hide their insecurities by partying and looking like he can drink a 24 and a half to show theyre tough **** and when a good girl comes along to give him that extra confidence he doesnt feel the need to show people up anymore because his girl is there to make him feel good and worthy. Plus its way less effort. and we all know guys are pretty lazy! haha

It's not that they want someone to change them, it's that alot of party girls are loose. Guys like their girls to have a good rep. Alot of party girls (not all) don't even know they had sex until they find their panties are inside out, or hanging from some guys rear view mirror. Hope I answered your question.

Opposites attract and most people like a challenge.
I agree it's a losing battle to try to change someone.
Hope this helps.

i think that it has something to do with the gut wanting balance in his life. or maybe he is ready to give up that kind of lifestyle, or he could figure that with a "good girl" he can have his cake and eat it too, as they say. like he knows that he can just run over her
