I suppose it would be like spearing any other clam.. You couldnt really do it by hand.. you would have to have some sort of tool to help you, say a gun, or a crossbow or somthing of that nature, you would also have to have pretty good aim considering the size of a clam. I dont know, Harpooning squids are cool...
I am assuming your talking about aquatic life...
