I have bought a bottle of mulled wine, however, do not intend to drink it all at once... do i heat up the whole lot and then reheat what's left the next day? Or do I only heat up half the bottle and heat the second lot the next day?or does it not matter?!

If I do mulled wine..I usually heat up what I want to have at the time. I haven't brought the ready made mulled wine..usually make my own with red wine and cloves and cinamon etc or I buy the special mulled wine bags that you heat up with your wine but I think the principle goes heat what you want to use to keep maximum flavour....hic

HI there

It's best to just warm the amount you wish to drink at the time, if you heat the whole bottle and don't drink it, it will be wasted, as you can't reheat it again. If you haven't tried mulled wine before, its lovely and you probably will drink the whole bottle as its quite addictive

Enjoy!

I'm sure if you keep reheating the mulled the alcohol level will reduce as it evapourates off, so after being reheated a few times it'll be like drinking pop. Try drinking it all in one go.

I don't believe it! You buy mulled wine in England! It's so easy. Cheapish red wine, a lemon stuck with cloves, half a cinnamon stick. Warm it up but don't boil. When serving add a little brandy to each glass.

I don't think it really matters too much, but I think I would tend to heat half the first day, and the other half the next. Sounds yummy whichever way you do it!

Enjoy, and have a great Christmas! :-)

Heat up only what you want so that the alcohol does not evaporate twice unless you like to loose all the giggles! Have you any mince pies?

I would only heat what you are going to drink.
