Yes, because although God will forgive you for sin, you still have to live with the consequences of your actions...

Examples:
Fornication--unwanted pregnancy, disease, rape
Drug addiction--lose your family, all your money, health
Murder--Go to prison, get executed

Etc...see my point?
"Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap..."

Abstaining is wiser, safer, smarter----yes, wise.

Repenting doesn't have to have a reason(action)--we are ALL sinners--and need to repent--anyway--because we do things wrong all the time--don't you think? Sometimes we don't even KNOW what we did wrong ,and God loves us anyway.

I would say YES! Because that's one less bad deed in this world. Sometimes a sorry won't do.. unless God wants to. In any case, people should stop doing crap and then "repenting". I know humans err but repenting should not be a habit.

To repent is wiser. Many sinners after repenting are forgiven their sins. God knows that we are sinners. The important thing is we repent after we acknowledge that we have sinned.

I would say a big YES to that. Repenting expends a lot of effort both physically and emotionally and if you hadn't done the "deed" in question there would be no need to do it. No need if you don't do the deed.
